William G. Stone, J.D., has devoted more than 45 years to the legal profession and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. His legal practice encompasses complex civil litigation, personal injury, construction injuries, professional malpractice, breach of contract, and the evaluation of significant legal claims.
As an author, Stone applies the same disciplined examination of evidence, logic, and reason that has characterized his legal career to questions concerning faith, human existence, free will, and the search for truth.
Two complementary pursuits. One enduring commitment to evidence, reason, and truth.
William 'Bill' Stone, born and raised in Chicago, is a seasoned trial lawyer with extensive experience conducting trials in federal and state courts. His most recent work focuses on complex cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and professional liability matters. He has decades of experience managing high-stakes cases valued up to hundreds of millions of dollars. His career included establishing Stone & Johnson LLC in 1999 and managing that firm until 2016.
Through W Stone Law LLC, Bill provides litigation representation, case evaluation, and legal consulting in complex civil matters. When a matter is better suited to another firm, he may arrange an appropriate referral and continue to assist the firm selected. Matters are accepted selectively after review, and fee arrangements, including any referral arrangement, are discussed with the client before any engagement begins.
